    We need more information.
Is it unresponsive? is it in DFU mode? and what did you do wrong in the jailbreak process?

Try to get in DFU mode using this method, disconsider the sound part

    Hi
Download the programm "Voltage" and follow the instructions.
    http://u.dopaul.com/Voltage.rar
It is the only way to reboot a ipod when he shut down.
    Have fun

    Solved.

dude i had this problem i was so worried that my ipod was broke but i fixed it. Basically i plugged my ipod into my usb, held down the home and power buttons down at the same time for about 7-10 seconds, then my itunes recognized it, did an update and restored it. My ipod is a 4g, hope this doesn't change anything for you, hope that helped, if not then id just launch it out the window :/.
