    Hey guys,

    Basically...

Would you be able to create an application that contains the ability to jailbreak your device through an exploit similar to Spirit's PDF exploit that was accessible through MobileSafari.app

    ?

    Thanks, Peebrian202869

You could but Apple would NEVER allow that in the app store.

And even if it was hidden in the app, it would get pulled eventually.

I remember I asked somebody on Twitter(I think it was comex or MuscleNerd) about this and they said it isn't worth all the work because it would probably not get past apple, and if it did it would be pulled quickly.

One guy had a tethering app!! It was pulled immediately though. So it's impossible for everyone to benefit from this idea.

Lol no... Apple would remove it immediately. After it gets removed there's only one way to get it and it's through you know what and then you'd need a jailbreak to get a jailbreak even if it is free.

I give such an app 2 min before being pulled out of the App Store.

Prehaps the app could be called iJailbreak.

    1. The exploit was not in the PDF itself, but the PDF contained the actual exploit.

    2. Star used the CFF Font exploit not Spirit

    3. I am sure Apple would notice that it was doing something in the background that it shouldn't.
