Jailbreak succeeded but vanished....

    After a lot of tries and fails I succeeded installing redsn0w lite

    (I had Cydia and all)
    but!
    I turned my Ipod off and then tried to turn it on but it didnt open.
    I entered him into DFU mode and bla bla bla now I have a regular Ipod with no jailbreak

    WTF?!
    Why did it happened?!
    Anyone else had it?

    The whole point of the tethered jailbreak was you could not turn it off or you would have to re-apply the redsn0w patch!

    The good news is you only have to repeat the last 4 steps depending on which method you used. You don't have to apply the custom firmware again.

    I think he does have to reapply it...the way I read his post, he restored to the original firmware. "I have a regular iPod with no jailbreak" implies that it works but isn't jailbroken, no?

    Correct, if he restored it back to stock firmware but that's not clear as of yet. It's hard to tell with the way some of the people write.
