Hi, i had my ipod jailbroken a while back, but then decided to go the proper route when 3.0 came out, and never really gotten back into it. Now i wanna jailbreak it again, and see if there are any awesome new things that could be useful for me, but im not sure if i can/how i can. Used to be able to do it off the back of my hand, but ya know, its not like riding a bike

    So, i have a 2g 16gb 3.1.2.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, or anyone prepared to tell me over MSN. if so, that'd be awesome. Thanks

Yea, you can. There are two programs you can use, blackra1n or redsn0w. The choice is entirely up to you. Redsn0w is said to be more stable than blackra1n, but blackra1n is easier.

    Download blackra1n.
Depending on which itunes version (9.1) you have. You'll need blackbreeze.
    Click Make It Rain.

I have 9.1.0.79, I THINK that the last time i JB'd, i used Redsn0w. didn't find it too difficult, so is it actually just the same procedure?

Cheers. I think I can remember what to do. Redsnow tells you step by step anyways doesn't it?
