I just got my ipod touch (8GB) yesterday, but i wish it would be more "customizable".

I've read Jailbreak is the best option, but I'm a little afraid it could damage my new ipod.

    I want to know:

have been any trouble using jailbreak?
    is it safe?
is it "uninstallable", or it stay installed forever?
will i loose my warranty if i install it?

    Thanks!

    1. No. There has been people who have not searched and done some things which have messed up there iPod. But its ok
    2. Yes it is safe
    3. If any thing goes wrong then you can restore to factory conditions, so it is un-installable
    4. Yes, you warranty will be lost, but if you do restore it comes back(this is what i heard, please confirm)

Yes, they will not be able to tell if you restore, so your the warranty is back.

Despite all this talk, nobody has ever told me WHY jailbreak voids the waranty. It is not a hardware change, so it cannot be responsible for a hardware problem.

    I hope somebody elaborates.
