so i have a (kind of stupid) question about jailbreak

so all it does is install cydia and installer right?
and then to get jailbroken apps you just enter the source and dl it?

also, since apparently the 2g jailbreak is comming soon (yay) is it possible that the Broadcom chip (Bluetooth) could be enabled for bluetooth headsets and stuff?

Jailbreaking will allow you to set backgrounds, change icons, and much more than just cydia but HOPEFULLY bluetooth will work with it

    Pretty much.

    About the Bluetooth, yes.
Somebody would have to write an application for it though.

I'm not sure but I think that you do... I think you do a factory reset first

I believe you have to completely restore. Which means all data will be deleted and you will have to re sync your media again.

If you are on 2.1.1, then I don't believe you need to restore.
That being the case, you won't lose a thing.

What about GPS? Any possibility that a jailbreak will enable that feature as long as an application is written for it?
