My friend is on os 4.0 mc model and wants it jailbroken. I am using sn0wbreeze and ibooty but after i restore with custom firmware it goes to a black screen when it is supposed to go to the "connect to itunes" screen. When I try to boot with ibooty it does not work... Any help?

What generation is the device you're trying to jailbreak? Keep in mind that sn0wbreeze only works on idevices that are currently on 3.1.2 and jailbroken with blackra1n when you're trying to do the restore to the custom firmware... The reason is that 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackra1n uses a iboot exploit. To restore to the custom firmwre the iboot needs to be patched which it is on 3.1.2.
