For QuickPwn, I am stuck on the first step where they want to detect your device. The problem is that the arrow won't turn blue; it is grayed out. I have firmware 2.1 and I already plugged in my iPod. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

PwnageTool is better overall because you don't need to plug in your iPod on the spot. Just create the IPSW and restore it with iTunes (easy)

    Device:
    iPhone 4 (Black)
Try a different USB port and make sure its not connected in a hub, just directly into the computer

it's still gray... i tried two different versions of quickpwn and it still does not work...

    here is what i did:

    1) clicked restore to restore and update to 2.1 in itunes

    2) downloaded firmware 2.1 off the web

    3) downloaded quickpwn and opened it, stuck on the first screen where it ask for connecting your ipod in which i already did.

    4) downloaded another version of quickpwn where it ask for the firmware and when it goes to device detection, it is still the same thing

    5) frustrated....
