My ipod touch is coming in the mail tomorrow (SO excited!!!) and I want to jailbreak. BUT i am pretty much a total noob/tard about tech stuff so I was wondering; what jailbreak would you suggest for someone who is confused? What is the easies to follow? Sorry if this shouldn't have been posted but I am just sooo excited and don't want to ruin it.

Why do you want to jailbreak? Don't you want to actually USE it for a while first?

It's not worth it while it is still tethered.

Completely honestly, the cyw00d jailbreak helper is the easiest tool ever used.
I tried the manual ways, then an auto-redsn0w process, then cyw00d and cyw00d was the easiest

i agree with teslanaut. use it first for a couple of days before applying a jailbreak.
