jailbreak help contacts

    hi guys i am familar with the ipod jailbreak so i somewhat know what i'm doing. i have a question, will jailbreaking 2.2.1 firmware with quickpwn erase your contacts on your phone if you have some of them stored and not on your sim card

    First off, iPods do not have SIM cards. Secondly, either way your contacts will be lost so sync them or write then all down like did.

    your right ipods dont but i was talking about jail breaking and quickpwn in general. see i dont have an iphone but i was just wondering so sync them to itunes. can you sync the ones on the sim card to i dont know i dont have a iphone...

    I'm not sure about the iPhone. I do know that you can sync your contacts. If you can't figure it out you can just write them down and add them later.

    Yeah, when you restore to a new firmware you erase everything.

    But, you can simply re-sync it back with iTunes.
    Same rule applies for music, videos, and other information.

    There might be an app out there for it but I don't believe the iPhone saves any info onto the SIM.

    Like previous posts mentioned just sync it via iTunes prior to an update (or restore).
