Jailbreak HAS Bricked my ipod

    You May Be Saying that redsnow cannot brick your ipod.
    IT CAN
    IT IS NOT ALLOWING ME TO RESTORE
    NO WHITE SCREEN MODE
    I WANT ANSWERS

    Timing is key, hold down the home and power button for a period of time (I did it for about 7 secs) and it worked for me. I too had thought that.

    DFU>Restore

    And I have no idea what your talking about so if it's on a white screen then it's really on restore mode, so just restore it.

    Haha I love seeing threads like this, how about people wait for the solid jailbreak

    I had this same problem where it would absolutely not let me restore even when in dfu. I just recently fixed this and have been able to restore, what i did was first rebooted my computer then i downloaded a new firmware file 2.2.1 from felixbruns.de. I put my ipod into dfu and in itunes i held alt clicked restore and selected the new firmware file i downloaded and just now finally it restores.
