Do you think the dev team/chronic dev team will even want to find a jailbreak after all the work they put on the 2g jailbreak?

i believe it was mentioned the 2g is jailbreakable no matter what because of a fault in the bootrom.. something i suppose cant be altered with new software..
although the 3g unlock can be an issue i suppose

if you are talking for the ipod touch, then it doesn't matter. the ipod touch will always be jailbreakable.
as for the iphone, if apple doesn't patch the exploit, all will be well as well.

Why ask now? Why not be patient and wait for it to be released? There is no point in asking whatsoever.

they cant fix the 2G unless they flash the boot ROM which we dont even know if it is possible, but if they do they will of shown us the technique to do that and the dev teams will be able to make a flashed and jailbroken version of the boot ROM making every future apple iphone / ipod touch device jailbreakable.

Teslanut, why do you have to put everyone down? We just want opinions here, and your just making the situation worse. So why don't you do yourself, and everyone else here at iPod Touch Fans, a favor and f*** off?

Its the same thing every time something new gets released. Someone asks if X can do this blah blah blah blah. What is the point in asking? Nothing. Why? Because no one knows anything. No one can see the future. Its just all unnecessary speculation until its actually released. Btw, I'll be here for a long, LONG time. As long as there are people like you to keep me company

Well that's too bad for you. A 32 year old with no girlfriend monitoring every opinion here. Have fun.
