So I had my ipt2g jailbroken, and then for some reason all the files went weird. More info here

Now, I put my ipod into DFU mode, held down shift and restored the original firmware 2.2.1

Once it had been flashed I clicked restore using my backup from my Jailbroken ipod.

Now, bear in mind my ipod is no longer jailbroken, it still has the customisation from MiM in the top left corner.

Anyway have any idea what the hell is going on?

the springboard app has been modified so it stays like that when backed up, it isnt detected as a modified backup so it will load.

When the iTunes backs up your device it copies everything inside /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/
You can still see the effect of MiM as MiM modifies com.apple.Springboard.plist[or something] and it has been backed up and then restored...
