So I heard the free iPad SDK for OSX comes with an iPad Emulator. Is there anyway to Jailbreak this? I would love to tinker around with it

As it is not a real device with real applications and functionality, I do not think that you can. Besides, how would you get a jailbreak tool to see the simulator as a device. The simulator just closes when it shuts off and there is no recovery or even any firmware on it.

    Just no.

It's already jailbroken. Thats why you can run your apps on it before they are signed.

U can do it on an iPad still in Apple jail, there's 2 things u need & 5 things u need 2 do it, here's what u need-
1)iFuntastic (download it from this link)-

This is what u need 2 do-

    2)Find the emulator under downloads
3)Go to the online store of iFuntastic (try moving it to iFun Data it will say Go to Online Store? Say Yes.
    4)Unlock features mode
5)Move the emulator 2 the SpringBoard
