The way that I jailbroke my iPod was with the reliable iLiberty. I might have not known what was going on, but it was worth it.

    1. You have to download the iLiberty program.
    2. Then you have to check both the top and the bottom boxes of the iLiberty software.
    3. Click Go for it! or whatever it says and DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING... let it do what it needs to.
    4. When it says unplug your iPod, do it!!
    5. Plug it back in and LET IT GO, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING AGAIN
    6. If anything goes wrong like white letters won't disappear then refer to this page.
    7. Then it will restart, but still... DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING.
    8. When it's done, it will show up with the Installer app.

Any questions. Ask me on the refered site. Or ask me here.

Just FYI... I wanted to share my wisdom with others. So, it's just another instruction manual added to all the other 100's ... right? Nope it, tells how to unlike alot... so it is useful in some cases. Thanks for your info though

There are multiple threads on this, please search before you create a thread. I understand that it is helpful, but we do not need a multitude of the same threads, explaining the same information in a different way.
