Jailbreak 2.2.1 for 1st gen?

    can you do it with the cydia thing or was it needed to be 2.2?
    and

    cause i bought the pack thing for the app store do i lose it and never be able to dload it again without paying for it?

    To jailbreak a 1g use quickpwn and it will add cydia to you springboard.

    do i have to restore before i do this or anything like that?

    i downloaded the update which you had to pay for to get you the app store? can i still JB it and not lose all my stuff and have to repay the update?

    Yes you have to restore before using quickpwn and do not restore a back up in itunes after using quickpwn. You will still have the app store but any other app you have you will have to reinstall after jailbreak.

    ok thanks...any particular youtube vids to guide me step by step which you used cause you seem like you know what you're doing and i dont lol

    quickpwn is self explanatory, it will guide you through the jailbreak step by step. The only thing you really have to do is put it in dfu when it asks you to.

    k so i need to:
    restore my ipod to 2.2.1 with a firmware download?
    then do quickpwn?
    then put all my music back on?
