jailbreak 1.1.4 but says im on 1.1.3

    so yeah i jailbroke my ipot with the new ZiPhone 2.6 today and i was downloading my apps again for the millionth time ive had my ipod and so yeah i had itunes pop up with my ipod when i opend itunes and i noticed it said my ipot is at 1.1.3, i just restored it completely fresh to 1.1.4, so i was like wtf and i go to click check for update but it says im at the current version and yes i was connected to the internet so yeah do i redo everything or what?

    If you installed the 1.1.4 COmpatibility Patch it switches the systemversion to 1.1.3 so you can add apps. It's actually on 1.1.4

    When you open settings, general, about, what version does it show on the ipod?

    holy crap wow that is nuts even the wiggle apps thing works wow thats funny i feel retarted a bit thx funny thing is i asked in a different thread if keep the 1.1.4 compatability patch on your ipod was ok ppl said it was but now i know what it does when u do keep it on thx for the help

    1.1.3 is really 1.1.4 ??

    I also have the same issue it shows me having firmware 1.1.3 and yet itunes tells me I have the the most up to date version.

    Under settings,general, about it shows on mine 1.1.3

    you could always change the N45AP.plist but it is still VERY strange

    I agree it`s very strange and it took place once I got customize to work. Its not a really big deal but I was wondering if it has happened to others.

    hmm, what did you change to your system to install it?

    I'm sure you have some kind of patch that changed the model number of your ipod to make installing customize possible. Like DTROCKER

    Do you not see the post I made? Uninstall the 1.1.4 Compatibility Patch and it will be back to 1.1.4!!!!!!!!

    yeah i think he has the same problem but since he didn't say it i thought his problem was different.
