iOS 3.1 Jailbeak on new firmware?

    this has most likely aleady been asked,i jailbroke my pod at the last firmware.I havnt accepted the update incase something happens to my ipod. will i update the firmware?

    i used blackra1n and its a 2g,
    ------------------double post merged------------------

    how does it make no sense ? Theirs a new firmware update,and i dont want to download it incase it deletes my jailbroken apps.

    does that make sense or do you want me to break it down again ?

    Do you know if it is an MC model? In other words, is it an old iPod, do you have to connect it to your computer to turn it on?

    Theres no reason to update. But if you do feel compelled to it is safe providing your jailbreak isn't tethered. Although you will loose your jailbreak and all the things you downloaded using a jailbroken app.

    Moved to jailbreak forum, also edited title to be less misleading.

    For the record, if you'd bothered to read the sticky posts, the answer is 'no, no jailbreak on 3.1.3, and no features worth speaking of'. It's basically an idiot trap for jailbreakers and dev teams.

    yes i have to plug it into the comp to turn it on.
