iOS 4.1 Jail-Break Water-mark?

    I heard something about that if you jailbreak 4.1 apple will place a water mark on your device and it cant be taken off ?

    No way! Not true at all. Theres no way they could do that because they wouldnt have any idea of how the jailbreak would work when they release the firmware

    afaik it doesnt matter with any jailbreak there are things that remain the same and i guess a service within the phone's OS could just check for them, i.e. cydia being installed or access being granted to things that shouldn't have access granted and then it could just write to a chip on the device, if Apple had a WORM memory chip on the board that'd do it but i don't think there is so its probably hidden somewhere

    This was there since the days when I think iOS4.1 beta was released and the dev team said that this is false.

    Apple have said this to reduce the number of people Jailbreaking their iDevices, It's not true dude..
