I finally convinced my dad to let me buy the Jaadu Remote Desktop application after reading all the reviews and videos on it. But I can't figure out why I can't connect. I downloaded the application for the computer, and when I run it, this happens at the end when it's automatically connecting:
    Code:
    7:10:00 PM: Connectivity test started
7:10:05 PM: Connection timed out, trying again in 5 seconds
7:10:15 PM: Connection timed out, trying again in 5 seconds
    7:10:26 PM: Connection timed out
    7:10:26 PM: Connectivity test failed
7:10:26 PM: Your computer is not directly accessible from the Internet.
It then tells me to go to a site, which tells me to change some stuff around in my router configurations? I can't find anything wrong in them, so could someone help me?

Try downloading TightVNC from your PC. Then, open up Jaadu VNC and enter your computer's IP address and OS. Save it with a password and open up TightVNC. Enter the password if necessary and connect Jaadu VNC app and it should work.

BTW, WiFi must be turned on.

Look up portforwarding and add the ports 5800 and 5900 to your computers IP.

I added the ports, and the connection test still fails. I can't figure out how to use that other VNC program.

friedmannn - did you fix this problem?

Jaadu Remote Desktop is a Windows Remote Desktop (RDP) client - you do not need to download VNC or forward port 5800 and 5900 for this to work. All you need is to enable Remote Desktop on your PC.

Please email me your entire Jaadu RDP Connect log: support [at] jaadurdp.com

We'll help you work through this issue.

if you enable "only local access"
it's going to work, but only inside your own network
