i've seen this problem floating around, but i've never seen a solution

    i have that problem where when i try to download something it says 'error: package download failed' and i dont have ssh on my ipod, so that is out of the picture, is there a way to fix this with no ssh?

    Try installing BossTool and relocating your fonts. That'll free up space and hopefully should fix the problem.

    i cant, my installer will not refresh sources, can this be fixed without ssh?

    uninstall some apps first to free up enough space to install BossTools, then relocate the fonts and apps.
