Hi. I've searched around this site and the internet many times, and it's answered some of my questions, and also raised some new ones. Basically, I want to run iPhone and 3rd party apps on my iPod Touch. I know that I first need to jailbreak the iPod Touch so that it can run these applications. I will be using Windows Please Register or Log in to view images() primarily for syncing my iPod Touch, so I should probably use the "Windows Jailbreak"...right? I also have access to a Mac if needed, but I won't be using it regularly, and I'll probably end up setting up my touch using Windows anyway... I looked around and found this solution: http://www.touchdev.net/wiki/Windows_jailbreak using "planetbeing's utility." Although I know nothing about it, so some help from someone who has used it in the past would be VERY APPRECIATED! It seems to have some kind of instructions, but not entirely... Also, when the method you use to jailbreak the Touch (such as the one above) is fixed by Apple in an update, is your Touch still jailbreaked, and will non-preinstalled applications work? Thanks in advance!! EDIT: Looking more into Planetbeing's site, it seems like this: http://www.slovix.com/touchfree/jb would work just as well. I've seen it on other sites too, but will it allow me to install 3rd party apps AND iPhone apps (editable calendar, Mail.app, Google Maps, etc.)?? Thanks again!
