Dont know about the switcheasy capsule, but this case does not have a hole for the light sensor... Or you can't at least see a opening for it... just an observation

Well, the iVak case is available at my preferred store while I would have to order the SwitchEasy capsule. Both cases will cost me about the same (considering the shipping costs to Europe....).

Maybe I'll check out the iVak at the store and decide depending on the look and feel

I bought the iVak in Italy for 34 €. The case is nice, with is satin finish.
Looks robust too, since it got not scratches even under heavy duty (i.e. being in the same pocket with my doorkeys

    ).

    On the pros:
    - Sleek finish
    - Robust
    - Integrated stand for keeping the iPod horizontal (killer!)
    - Fits the Apple Dock (if you don't use the supplied adapter)
    - Protects the touchscreen too

    On the cons:
    - Gets dirty (powder, dust)
    - Doesn't allow automatic brightness control
    - Screen protector may create some "bubbles" (just squeeze the iPod to remove them)

    That were my 2c
    Bye!

    Hi

thanks for your review. you seem to be the only one who has this case.
How does this case feels like: does it feel like a silicon case or more than a hard case? (Because the description says "rubberized touch"). Does it attract any dirt etc? Which color do you have (black or silver).

    Thank you!

It is definitely a hard case, laminated with satin rubber.
It attracts some amount of dirt, especially on the screen cover.
    I got the black version.

    Glad to be helpful!

I bought black one yesterday and although I havent had it long at all it seems quite nice. the finish is good and feels rubberized but I suppose it can also be compared to a matt finish also. My only concern with these hard cases is that, although the fit is snugg, is there still a chance for the backing on the Touch to become scratch due to small/minute moverment?

    Oh, and hello
