I have a Jailbroken iPhone 4 32Gb on 4.0.1. I am currently trying to update my iphone to 4.1 so i can jailbreak it again.

when i click on update on iTunes, it keeps giving me an error saying the iPhone server cannot be contacted or is unavailable at this time..

Is anyone else having this problem?

Not normal. Is iTunes fully updated?

If all else fails, DFU her.

Happened to me as well a few days ago. But, I forgot what I did to fix it. All I remember is I started the TSS server, which killed iTunes. Try googling restoring jailbroken iPhone 4 to 4.1 or something.

Same thing happened to me, and DFU didnt do anything for me so I just kicked the device out of recovery mode using TinyUmbrella. I was able to fix it, but I forgot what I did.

You should always restore to a newer firmware from jailbroken devices to avoid any issues

Exactly what I wondered...Mine did the same thing, but when I removed the line I added to the host file for downgrading, it worked.

Either their Internet or your Internet is down. Try again later, or when your Internet is online.
