this kinda happened to me also. Was actually the computer. Try opening up your task manager (ctrl-alt-delt) go to the processes tap and search for iTunes. When you found it, right click and select end process. After you done that reopen itunes and it should work.

    OR try restarting your computer.

    Hope this helps.

Nope, doesn't work. Itunes won't start up, it doesn't even start the process.

I tried turning my computer back to another date, didn't work. tried removing and reinstalling Itunes, Didn't work either.

    AppName: itunes.exe AppVer: 7.7.1.11 ModName: quicktime.qts
    ModVer: 7.50.61.0 Offset: 00bad369

i had the same prob, just search all file and folders for "itunes library.itl" (without quotes) and delete it, then it will start up fine....

i wouldnt delete the library.itl file. That is your library. You will have to re put all your music back.
