I seem to have come across a problem with my ipod touch. I jailbroke it about a month ago using ZiPhone. Everything has been fine up until yesterday. Yesterday, it would not get recognized on iTunes or any charger whatsoever. I've tried the method on here to manually restore it, and it won't work. I get to the image that shows the USB connecting to iTunes, and then nothing happens. I've tried various forms of the "forced restore" method about 20 times, and nothing has come of it except stress and me wanting to throw things.

    Any ideas?

    try a different computer

    or

    reinstall the drivers
    unpack the iTunes installer
    run AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi

    reboot

    it should work

    or

    go into Device Manager
    right click on Apple iPod
    hit Update Driver
    Don't connect to Windows Update
Manually choose the driver to install
Choose the driver from a list

    Choose "Apple iPod"
It might say it is unsigned
    it doesn't matter.

    reboot

So I should re-download iTunes and re-install it? Then where do I go to find the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi?

Kick in DFU mode using Ziphone and reboot manually.
