itunes wont recognize ipod!

    my ipod is jailbroke and i was having problems with it so i decided to clear all settings and media in the settings app on ipod. so i thought it was done and i turned it off well when i went to turn it back on it froze on the ipod logo, i put it in dfu mode and restored it but after it gets done restoring itunes wont recognize it saying there was a unknown error (OxE900000A), what can i do to get itunes to recognize it.im running 3.1.2, on a 2nd generation, jailbroke with blackra1n,8gb

    my ipod just froze and now itunes doesnt even show my ipod when i connect it!!!

    Did you just regular click the Restore button in iTunes, or did you Shift+Restore to an IPSW?

    Also, are you sure it was in DFU Mode?
    DFU Mode means its all black, and theres nothing on the screen, & its completely unresponsive.
    You may be in Recovery Mode, which is a screen w/ a picture of a cable and the iTunes logo.
