if you restore, it will install the latest version.

You should still be able to restore.. a tethered jailbreak has nothing to do with not being able to restore.

hi i saw ur vid on jailbreaking itouch 2g
    i have a 8gb 3.1 ver itouch
i accedently ran blackra1n on 3.1 and it UnTethered jailbreaked my itouch.
everytime i turn off my itouch a itunes and usb cable comes up.
how do i get rid of it so that it will restart normally.
i tried to restore but it requires restart, and when it restarts it requires u to run jailbreak again so the restore disconnects.
    help please thanks!

    thats unthedered right?

No, that's tethered. When you restart and you get the 'Connect to iTunes' screen, it's tethered. And you can't get rid of it unless someone makes an untethered jailbreak.

    Yes you can restore.
And you cant get rid of it unless they release an untethered jailbreak. Simply just dont turn of your ipod, just put it to sleep. Saves you more battery.
