itunes wont let me delete songs... wtf (urgent plz)

    hey, umm well im trying to delete some of my brother's songs (its a nano) off of his ipod... when i plug it into my computer it wont let me do anything to his music at all... all the text looks different 2, its hard to explain but it looks LESS bold than it should... any solution??? im trying to delete about 50 songs and add 1 really big audiobook...

    How do you get songs off an ipod anyway?? This is my first ipod and i don't know.. its a touch.

    go to itunes... go to library... music... delete all the songs you want to delete.. then connect ur ipod to itunes and sync it and they should be gone

    oh yeah that is prettty obvious I just never though of trying it. hahaha i just it wouldnt be that easy cos itunes sucks. lol

    You can also select "Manually manage music and videos" from the iPod's device page. With that option checked, you can delete songs off of the iPod itself rather than from your iTunes Library.

    I have to try that tomorrow when I get on another computer with the updated itunes.

    Why do you have to keep on downloading them? I don't have a very big download limit and once you go over you get charged like 100 bucks every mb.

    And where is the iPod Touch's device page?

    iTunes will NOT delete any files from my iPod. After selecting a file all file operations are grayed out and not available. Hitting the delete key per the manual does nothing.
