Ok, so I started up iTunes for the 2nd time today, and AVG tells me that I have been infected with a virus called "trojan horse.BOG" and is apparently attached to the vital components of iTunes.

    What can I do?

Your safe dude it's a mistake on avg's end. They & apple are both looking into fixing it. Although you may have to manually allow iTunes & iPod under avg's control panel.
