Itunes SUCKS.

    so i open it and play a song yet it says its playing but stays at 0.00 seconds and no sound? is there something set on it? idk i have shut it off and restarted multiple times. is there a setting?

    well is this for all ur music or one certain song? if its just one then its that copy of the song that sucks

    Close iTunes, turn on speakers, restart iTunes.
    I have the same issue... been dealing with it for like a year now... I use an USB audio component, maybe that's why I get the problem...

    It doesnt bother that much though.

    Sounds like the song is corrupt. Try playing it in a different media player.

    can try uninstall and reinstall

    That means your speakers aren't working, or you have too many processes running. Close some processes. Worked for me on my ye olde Windows 2000. Now I don't have that problem because I have a shiny new Mac.

    You know, it seems like most of the iTunes problems on here are with Windows computers. My mac; and everyone else that I know that has one, hardly ever has trouble.

    if you are running vista it will do this casue vista sucks ass
