My iTunes 8.2 is recognizing my iPod Touch 2g 3.0 as an iPhone. How can I fix this without restarting my computer? This always happen after i unplug my iPod Touch and plugging it again =/

Why not just restart your computer? That might fix the problem. Is your iPod jailbroken by any chance?

When I made this thread, it shows some of the same topics on this forum. I have checked and there is no solution. Yes, I've tried google.
