So I got onto itunes today and I see message itunes 10 available would you like to update. I clicked yes and it started to download but almost 1 hour later the download bar isn't budging. So I got sick of it and cancelled it, now my itunes is missing from my computer and I did complete search on my computer and no itunes is found except for itunes installer. What the f*** is going on? I have over 700 music, video files on it, and if I lost it all because of apple's itunes bullsh*t I will literally go apesh*t on someone.

Um, your iTunes Music stays on your computer even if iTunes is gone.

yeah, just search for your songs, they'll show up. uninstall all itunes components then install it from the site.

Yes, the automatical update often brings some problem. So now each time when there's message about iTunes update, I would like to unload the current version, and download the new version from Apple's website and then install it.

You can restore you computer to the moment before updating iTunes (if you have windows).
