    Hi all,

I have a ipod touch first gen, and using itunes 9.
    Alright, here's my situation.

I have a computer which i sync to my ipod perfectly well until it broken down. I took out the hard disk, and managed to operate it as an external hard disk on my netbook. When i fire up itunes from there, all my playlists are gone. The thing is that i do not save some music files on my PC, but in the ipod itself. I am afraid that once i start syncing them, all the music in my ipod currently will be lost.

Is there any way for me to ADD songs into my ipod without losing the songs already in the device? I am quite sure a sync will effectively clear out the songs in there as the music library i see in my itunes now is close to empty!
Are there any 3rd party software i could use?

To date, i have not had put new tracks in my ipod for close to 3 months already, and i'm getting sick of the songs! so any kind soul out there, please help!

    Happy Holidays everyone!
    Thank you!

Maybe copy the songs out of your iPod with iFunBox and start over, adding the songs into iTunes.

Question: Is iTunes running off the external hard drive? with the netbook?

Is iTunes "seeing" the iPod Touch?
