Sometimes when I'm on Cydia or when changing a theme in Winterboard, a window will pop up asking for my iTunes password. What's happening?

That is weird. Try downloading something from the App store on your iPod or iPhone - Something free, just so that it asks for your iTunes account password. Then see if you still have the problem.

I think it's because I tried to update an app, but it failed. Now it's just sitting there on my Springboard.

Use the wiggle function to delete the app then. Then see if you still have the problem.

It couldn't be deleted, the X wasn't there.

I updated the app and I think it's fixed now.

I had this same problem. Had to restore. Be sure to update your apps through iTunes.

It wouldn't let me update through iTunes after I tried to update through the app store. You live and learn.

iTunes Passwrod Keeps Popping Up Dec 2009

The password pop up box started after I downloaded from iTunes. Talk about annoying. Makes me wonder if iTunes has a virus. I did manage to stop the problem and get rid of the passwrod pop up box by signing out of my account from the computer (not the iTouch). Don't know what will happen when I re-log into iTunes.
