    Yeah I just saw this on digg. Pretty cool.

    I'll still probably stick to renting from brick and mortar stores though because I'm one of those people that actually watches the special features

    Besides, it'll probably be easier to break the DRM on the actual disks than the downloaded ones

    those movies will be overpriced and they won't be able to play on a tv (at least in good quality)

    I freakin new it! Long ago I sent them a comment when the store released movies that they should to movie rentals, like in-demand, and it now looks like they are gonna do it.

    imagine some sort of wifi fed on demand movie database rental thing for the iPhone/touch!

    Now that would be awesome. I image apple will bring a lot of things to the wireless iTunes store at macworld. I hope one of those things is the addition of the movie rental system. If that happens I might actually start buying my movies.

    Probably a bit too early to ask this but, Is this going to be the same as Microsofts Xbox Live Movie Rental thing ?

    I sort've laughed at this seeing as how I already saw MacWorld...I agree with you on one thing...I think they are a bit overpriced for just being able to watch it once then it automatically disappears...But I guess they proved you wrong about not being able to watch it on TV and in good quality because they have HD available, and the appleTV, although it costs alot...over 200$...Oh well.
