Hi ifans. Since iOS 6 bring streaming to iTunes match. How can you download the songs. I'm one of the few who rather download songs rather than stream. I found a way and it works sometimes. You have to play through the whole songs but I don't have time for that. Also you can download whole albums. I buy albums but listen to 4-5 songs from it so that's not handy. I liked iOS 5's cloud download button. Is there any way I can download songs with out downloading whole albums or listening to them and it stores locally?

They haven't implemented it yet in iOS 6... as far as we know, the setup they have right now is the final setup, meaning you won't ever be able to individually download songs like you could in iOS 5. For now the only thing to do would be to download it on your computer and transfer it over, or download the entire album.

Tap the cloud icon to download it.

You haven't read my post properly. I am aware of that but when you have albums and you only listen to 4-5 songs, that really isn't useful. With iTunes Match on iOS 5, I only download a few songs from an album. I want the same cloud download button on every song but that isn't on iOS 6 so I'm trying to find another way to download them without having to listen to the whole songs while streaming or download the whole album.

Doesn't just playing the song for a few seconds start the download? I remember when I used iTunes Match on iOS 5 and I accidentally played a song, it would download the full thing. Unless I was imagining things :p

It does, once it starts playing it will cache.

Does this apply to iOS 6?
