I have a 3g iphone, jailbroke and all is fine with the phone
I unstalled a 3rd party explorer GUI on my PC and then uninstalled it.

But now when I plug in my iphone and start itunes, my music and video library no longer syncs to my iphone. iTunes sees these libraries, but I cannot delete or add tunes to it. If I uncheck a song, then sync, the songs in my iphone are all still there. Somehow now itunes does not think my library is for this iphone.

How do I "marry" my library back to my iphone so I can use it again? The data locations have not changed.

do you have problems with anything else, or just itunes?

if its only itunes, look at your Music\iTunes\ folder for a file called iTunesLibrary.itl or something like that, open it with notepad, erase everything (you must have itunes closed)

then when you open itunes back, it should start re-building your library.

i did that when i moved to win7 and kept all my stuff, even play-count and ipod stuff, i just had to copy the files to the same location as in vista

    hope that helps!

Thanks, that seemed to work out.
