When trying to sync my iPod Touch to another Notebook I got an message about sending information about some crashes that I have experienced to Apple. I read more about it and saw 2 files that contained the name Cydia. I didn't send it to Apple in case they would do something to my iPod, Account, or something else. Has anyone else go this message?

    I'm running:
    iTunes 8.0.0.35
    Jailbroken 2.1

    Edit:
I've attached the crash report files if anyone wants to try and see how it would help apple and hurt the jailbreaking community. I tried looking in the Cydia.plist and it was way to complicated for me to understand.

dont do it man... they dont need to know whats on your ipod, and its not actually going to help you. seriously, how would it? it would just help them make it harder to jailbreak the next update

I didn't send. I was just wondering if it has happened before or it was something new with iTunes 8 because it's the first time I've had it happen before.

Of course they know about it. They got the whole AppStore idea from the jailbreaking community and much more.

Those are just crash logs... Big whoop.

You don't think Apple has people planted here to watch for jailbreaks and examine the code? If you don't think so, you're naive.

its pretty obvious that apple sit and watch this forum. Apple knew about jailbreaking before most of the new members here.

Well, Apple just decided that they don't like the word 'Jailbreak' so they decided to block it on AppStore xD
