I have been copying MP3 Audio books to my itunes for quite some time. VCery recently I noticed that when I imported the folder it scrambled the play order. Is this something new on rights management protecyion or are there problems with itunes 9.0+? Thanks for the help.

where are you getting these audiobooks? if it is obtained illegally (example: u*******), then a particualr audio book might not work right if it is not imported from its original cd. this is beginning to happen with many audio, video, and gaming discs. "backups" (example: .iso, .dmg, raw file rip) is getting detected by the music or what ever file it is.

but if you actually bought the cd, then uninstall itunes (backup if needed), and redo your library from backup. hope this helps

Thanks steve19137. These are the actual CDs. Some are mine and some came from the library. My workaround is to re-order them in the playlist, but that is time consuming and a pain in the butt!
