I'm trying to free up space on my iPod. I have about 1,010 songs and about 300 MB of space left. I have unchecked the songs I wanted to take off, (because I don't want to delete them) and synced my iPod. The songs were not removed. How do I remove them from my iPod while keeping them in my iTunes Library.

Did you check "only sync checked songs"?

Teslanaut, I'm tired of you arrogant comments. I rarely am ever in the iTunes window, so give me a f***ing break if I didn't know where something was. Jesus.

I don't need to spend my entire life with iTunes. I always turn iTunes on, pick a song, and leave it as it is. Must I spend more than 5 minutes with the sh*t? No, so just shut up. I'm not at fault just because I didn't know where something was.
