Hello, I searched but couldn't find another thread on this topic.

Basically everything works flawlessly in itunes ( latest version, 7.7.something) except however when I go to file exit, it will just freeze up. If I go to taskmanager and end the process, then itunes will simply reopen itself with no prompts at all, I have to end the process 3 or 4 times before it understands that i dont want it open.

Another thing, when it's open it uses 50% of my cpu power, I have a dual core laptop so thats basically using one entire processor, and over 121 megs of memory, this is when its not playing music or synching, simply open and running. Whats all the memory/cpu being used for? I can get all of the same functions out of winamp and that uses about 5% of my cpu and 21 megs of memory.

my cpu isnt a beast but it should be able to easily handle itunes, shouldn't it?
