Okay, everytime I open up iTunes it's fine. But when I connect my iPod it freezes. Then when I unplug my iPod, it flashes my iPod's data for like a second or two and then closes and iTunes is working fine again. Can anyone help

Mine was doing the same thing not 3 minutes ago. I docked, iTunes froze, but the iPod's screen came up as if it were charging, which it was. The floating rainbow beach ball of doom (...FRBBOD?) appeared, and as I was coming here to post a topic, I found this, and my iPod came up saying "Sync in Progress" and the FRBBOD disappeared.

Thing is, this only happened after the 7.7/2.0 update, never before.

I was on the phone with apple care for almost 2hours last night and dropped the call. And still didn't get it fixed.

Try deleting the iTunes library file in the music folder and opening itunes again. Worked for me.
