Recently I updated to iTunes 10, but today, iTunes seems to have stopped recognizing my iPod Touch. I put it into DFU mode and it still didn't recognize it. For some odd reason, whenever I open "My Computer", it just loads forever and never opens up. Whenever I right click "My Computer", windows explorer freezes... This only happens when I connect my iPod. Before at least my computer recognized it, but now it only charges. However I connected my iPod to another computer and it seemed to work fine there. I could use some help here, thanks

Edit: Nevermind, it doesn't even charge anymore. It works flawlessly on another computer...

Btw, I tried uninstalling iTunes and deleting iTunes and iPod from the program files but still got no results.

Format your HD. Sounds like your computer has a virus.

I scanned my computer with Norton, so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

You sound like you have windows Vista or XP...

Its not iTunes, its Windows Explorer keeping it away from iTunes since its recognized as a digital camera.

If my computer is not opening, it means you DID have a virus, just not anymore. What ever it was, it deleted system files.

Buy a Windows CD off of eBay, you can buy one for about 8 bucks.

Ok, nvm about the cd because since your on 7 you need to pay about $300 for the CD unless your computer came with one.

Lol yeah... you think restoring back to a previous point would do the trick?

just do a system restore, that fixes everything on a windows computer, but backup all ur files first (but no programs, just files, music, etc)
