Hi there, i just bought a new laptop running Vista, and did an iPod to PC transfer using the DISK AID program. It worked perfectly, and everything played out great, until I decided to move the iPod music files into the recycling bin. Luckily enough, i did not permanently delete them, so therefore, I still have them in a folder on my desktop. Except now, iTunes is saying that it cannot have the original song file, so it cannot be played! Please help me! What can I do to fix this??

The files need to be in the same location as iTunes is expecting to find them.

One option would be to delete the songs from iTunes and then drag and drop the files back in. This would effectively remove the old shortcut to the files and create new ones...
