Itunes being [generic insult] *please help!

    Im not going to give a story, il get right to the point.
    Itunes isnt reading my ipod is plugged in.
    In other words it's being truly [removed[.
    I've restarted computer, re-installed itunes twice, End Processes like AppleDeviceHelper and i just really do not know what to do, i need to restore my ipod, but i can not on account of the itunes being gay thing.
    Please help.

    Try maybe shutting down your pc, wait a few seconds and physically disconnect the power from your computer. Re-plug. This works for me whenever a USB plug doesn't seem to work.
    That'll knock the ghey out of your computer.

    Restart your iPod first.

    Thanks for trying to help, but i tried both.
    Its not the usb, because it's charging and iliberty is reconizing it.
    WTF do I do?!!?!? lol
    Please help.

    I'm thinking maybe its the ipod and im comtemplating sending it back.
    Is theyre enything I should worrie about them noticing that it has been jailbroken.
    Its empty, 0 songs videos and photos, but it sais theyre still only a couple gigs left in room.
    Eny advice?

    yeah same thing is happening to me , itunes does not recognize my ipod touch that my friend accidentallly udgraded to 1.1.4 and know itunes does not recognized and i still have 1.2gb left from the 7.2

    Restoring your iPod is probably the best bet. It's always worked for me.

    have you put it into DFU while it's plugged into itunes?

    What the extra space showing is some other version of some files that you downloaded that weren't wiped when you uninstalled. It happens mainly on some bad roms and on some tap files for TTR. Just restore.
