I'm having some issues with my 8GB ipod touch (not jailbroken)(device is over a year old). It was working perfectly fine with an iTunes update I had done several weeks ago to iTunes version 9.0 and a 2.0 ipod update, but a few days ago, I noticed that a newer version of itunes and ipod update was avaliable to download. That was when everything went wrong!

After updating everything that iTunes told me to update, my ipod touch was wiped clean of all the music/movie files that I had

. I tried to RESTORE my device several times but no luck. I'm hopeing someone here can help me out.

Here's what is now going on:
I tried to restore my ipod through my desktop NUMEROUS TIMES, but I'm getting the same alert message that reads "ipod could not be restored, an unknown error has occured (2003)".
Now I'm on a friend's laptop hopeing that the restore loop that my ipod is stuck in can be freed...but that totally failed

. Now I'm getting another alert message that reads, "ipod could not be restored, this device isn't eligible for the requested build".
I was able to get some information from the report that was to be sent to Apple, maybe it means something to someone because I have no idea ... error (94) and "itunes restore error 3194"

Does anyone know what I need to do in order to get my ipod up and running again????
