Hey guys. So some of you may know that today April 28th, 2009, the 3.0 beta 4 firmware and iTunes 8.2 were released. I noticed that in order to use your iPod with iTunes, you must be upgraded to iTunes 8.2. Is it possible that they put some sort of stop to restoring with custom firmwares etc etc? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the iTunes version cannot do anything to the iPod's firmware, but if it asks you to update, you should refuse. That is when it will remove the jailbreak.

It checks to see if you are a developer before it upgrades your iPhone or iPod touch.
Just because there is an iTunes update (That's not even released yet, why do you care anyways?) doesn't mean it blocks jailbreaking.
