I just ran a redsn0w 0.3 jailbreak as a test for iTunes 8.2 and it went just fine. I would assume that the update voids the ability to use quickpwn, not iTunes. So this is as safe as I can tell anyone. I am wondering if anyone else has tried and has it worked?

I have heard other confirmations, but I am going to be safe.

redsn0w itself is unaffected. Everything else will be broken just because of how it works internally.

    Hm!
    Well. That's something else.
It's probably because redsn0w uses a different JB method than Quickpwn.
    I'll update my post.

If you are using a iPod touch 2g and no other device, then yes.

    Nope, it's fine.
It doesn't require iTunes, so it doesn't get killed.
