I have ran the 7.7 installer TWICE and it says it's successfully updated, but when I check iTunes there's no applications tab or anything. It's impossible for me to download any Apps.

    on Vista...

You have to search for the app name then on the top you will see the app store tab
And go to edit/ preferences and check application

Same problem. This is how i fixed it.

    go to edit
    preferences
    check 'applications'
go to the applications tab on the left
go to the bottom and click the 'get more apps' button

Yes it does. After I installed it the first time it actually didn't install. It was still at 7.6.2.

And I fixed it. Thanks to those who helped.
